The 24th annual VMAs will air live from the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Sept. 9, with Timbaland as "maestro," in charge of creating several "show-stopping and unexpected artist collaborations." Furtado, who sizzled up the charts last year with her comeback song, "Promiscuous," is nominated for female artist of the year, along with Winehouse, Beyonce, Fergie and Rihanna.
