Akon Facing Criminal Charges for Throwing Fan |

Hip-hop star Akon is in trouble again, this time for throwing a fan into the audience at a concert and injuring a bystander.
The rapper apparently had a 15 year old boy pulled onstage after the boy apparently heckled him during a performance in Fishkill, NY in June.
He then reportedly hoisted the boy onto this shoulders and threw him into the crowd, where he landed on Abby Rosa, who suffered a concussion.

The report in the Associated Press says that Akon will appear in court on Monday for arraignment on a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
Akon found himself at the centre of controversy in April after he simulated sex with an underage girl during a performance in Trinidad. As a result, Verizon pulled sponsorship from Gwen Stefani's US tour on which Akon was the opener.
