 Notorious BIG Their wrongful death suit has been postponed indefinitely.
The family of slain rapper Notorious BIG was dealt a legal setback this week when a judge dismissed its second wrongful death suit against the city of Los Angeles.
US District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper ruled the rapper's family did not file the claim against the city within the necessary time frame.
The trial was originally set for February and has now been delayed indefinitely, according to Fox 11 News.

The lawsuit alleged that Los Angeles Police Department officers killed the rapper 10 years ago, and sought unspecified damages on behalf of his mother, wife, and two children.
Notorious BIG, real name Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in 1997 as he was leaving a party at a Los Angeles museum.
