Hustler It wasn't too long ago that Hustler was an underground club classic. Released as a 12" last year by Kitsune, it was destined to the prize-possesion of the lucky few punters who managed to snap-up a copy before it sold out.
Now Simian Mobile Disco have given the song a full widely available release and the duo were more than right in their choice of next single, as it stands up as one of the finest compositions they've dedicated to wax yet.
Hooking up with New York singer Char Johnson is what makes the track so infectious. Her sassy street vocals and lyrics about steeling vinyl from record shops matches the sleazy underground nature of the music; from the wirey tense bass to the edgy beeps, blips and squelches.
It is everything you could want from a dance track and the reason why Simian Mobile Disco have become one of the best live acts in the world today.
