Lawyers for Kevin Federline are asking for the police report detailing Britney Spears’ highly-publicised meltdown last week.
In a hearing yesterday involving the ongoing child custody dispute between Spears and ex-husband Federline, Mark Vincent Kaplan requested the report and wants the names of the police officers who responded to the phone call.
Officers came to the scene following a phone call from the court-appointed monitor who was overseeing Spears’ visit with her children.
The singer refused to hand over Sean Preston and Jayden James to Federline’s bodyguards on Thursday evening (January 3), prompting a media frenzy.
Spears was taken to hospital via ambulance and placed on a medical hold. She discharged herself on Saturday January 5.
Her visitation rights were taken away the next day during an emergency court hearing.
The next hearing in the custody case may be open to the media and the public, according to the Associated Press.
