Kate Nash Makes Los Angeles Debut
Kate Nash
Kate Nash delivered her very first Los Angeles performance last night (January 14) for a sold-out crowd at the Troubadour.

The London songstress was met with thunderous applause when she took the stage to 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' which segued into 'Play' from her debut album 'Made Of Bricks'.

Nash kicked off her hour-long set with 'Mariella', and the entire front row mouthed the words to the song despite the fact it was her first show in the city.

"This is my first time in LA and it's pretty good," she told the crowd, who cheered back in response.

"Congratulations on your BRIT Award nomination!" shouted an audience member, referring to the three nods the singer received earlier in the day.

Nash switched between her keyboards and an acoustic guitar throughout the night, and was backed by a three-piece band. Unfortunately incredibly loud drums drowned out the singer's vocals throughout most of the set, which included all of the songs off of 'Made Of Bricks' as well as 'Little Red' during the encore.

Nash concluded the night with an extended version 'Pumpkin Soup', which ended with her pounding the keys of her piano.

Nash played:

'Intro'/'Play'
'Mariella'
'Shit Song'
'Stitching Leggings'
'Skeleton Song'
'Birds'
'Nicest Thing'
'Dickhead'
'We Get On'
'Mouthwash'
'Foundations'
'Merry Happy'
'Little Red'
'Pumpkin Soup'
