 Jonny Greenwood Jonny Greenwood’s score for the excellent ‘There Will Be Blood’ maybe disqualified from the Oscar nominations it has been revealed.
Radiohead Guitarist, Jonny Greenwood’s soundtrack has been praised by many and already has a BAFTA nomination under its belt.
However, according to the Los Angeles Times the music doesn’t quite meet the criteria set out by the committee for the Best Original Score category.

A source told the newspaper that the score may be barred because "the majority of the music was not composed specifically for the film."
A large part of the soundtrack was taken from Greenwood’s BBC-commissioned composition ‘Popcorn Superhet Receiver’ which he won a British Composer Award for last year.
