Created On: Thursday, 21 February 2008 Hits: 33  Lindsay Lohan Lindsay said: "I didn't have to put much thought into it. Working with Bert Stern on a Marilyn Monroe shoot was really an honour. When is that ever going to come up again? "I wanted to portray the look and get it point-on as much as I could, to bring it back to life. I was comfortable with it, the nudity and everything." In the shots, Lindsay wears a peroxide blonde wig and winged eyeliner, and is seen posing with a series of see-through chiffon scarves, a diamond necklace and sprawled naked on a bed. The 21-year-old actress - who confessed she panicked and did 250 stomach crunches the night before the shoot in a bid to get her stomach as flat as possible - revealed she has always been a big fan of the iconic star. Photographer Bert Stern, who originally photographed Marilyn 46 years ago, added: "It was very similar, déjà vu you might say, like revisiting an old street." Lindsay also spoke about the recent death of close friend Heath Ledger, who died of an accidental drugs overdose last month. She added to New York magazine: "It's also tragic what just recently happened to someone else. Marilyn and Heath are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone.
