The festival, now in its 11th year, has also been extended until Sunday. It will run from 18th to 20th July and end with a headlining performance from Bjork.
Acts set to perform at Melt this year range from indie heroes Editors and Franz Ferdinand to beat masters Crookers and Boys Noize.
