Her UK label XL Recordings arranged the deal and its rep Richard Russell commented, "She wants to work it properly, and put in time there. People are really excited about her over there." Adele, catapulted to success through her hit single "Chasing Pavements" that sent the album going straight to #1 in UK albums chart earlier this year. In Britain, Adele has been dubbed the "most likely to make it big in 2008". She is currently touring in US until the end of the month and will embark on a European tour afterwards.
