The SoCal Punk rockers team up with MySpace.

Pennywise have announced that they will release their new album for free via MySpace.

The Southern California punk band has partnered with MySpace Records to give away 'Reason To Believe' for two weeks beginning today (March 25).

This is just one in a series of groundbreaking ways bands are releasing their music, including Radiohead allowing fans to decide how much to pay for their latest album 'In Rainbows', and The Charlatans giving away their new album 'You Cross My Path' via Xfm.co.uk.

"It's a brave new world in the music industry," Pennywise frontman Jim Lindberg told the LA Times. "I'm not really the person that downloads and listens on portable devices…but a lot of people do, and this approach we're doing will really connect with a lot of new people."

This is reportedly the first time MySpace has given away an entire album from a big-name band on its site.
