Yoko Ono Pays Tribute to Neil Aspinall
Yoko Ono
John Lennon's widow sends her 'love and deepest sympathy'.

Yoko Ono Lennon has paid tribute to The Beatles' 'fixer' Neil Aspinall, who died yesterday (March 24).

Aspinall, who began as the band's roadie in 1961, graduated to being their closest confidante.

In a personal statement Ono said: "Neil was an important member of The Beatles family. John (Lennon) loved him. I continued to treasure his wisdom and support in the years after John's passing.

"My love and deepest sympathy go to Neil's wife Suzy, and to his children. With love, Yoko Ono Lennon".

After The Beatles' break-up in 1970, Aspinall took charge of the band's Apple Corps, looking after their business affairs until last year.
