Created On: Thursday, 27 March 2008 Hits: 18  The Cribs The Cribs, British Sea Power, The Young Knives and The Rascals are among the bands set to play the inaugural Zoo Thousand Festival this summer. The new festival takes place July 4-6 at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park in the Kent countryside. It is expected to attract 60,000 visitors, making it one of the largest festivals in the South East. Also on the bill for Zoo Thousand and Eight are Lethal Bizzle, MSTRKRFT, Hadouken!, Friendly Fires, Does It Offend You Yeah? and The Rumble Strips, among others. For each ticket purchased, a donation will be made to the Aspinal Foundation charity to help pay for the upkeep of the animals and their enclosures at the Port Lympne Wild Animal Park as well as animal rescue and rehabilitation projects around the world.
