Jose Feliciano to Perform for The Pope Benedict XVI |

 Jose Feliciano Upon invitation, Feliciano has agreed to cut short his planned tour of Australia to arrive back in New York—where he was raised— to join Pope Benedict XVI at a papal mass at Yankee Stadium on April 20th. Over 60,000 parishioners are expected to be present at the event.

In accordance with the Pope’s planned theme of “Hope,” Feliciano will perform three songs: “Lean On Me,” by Bill Withers Feliciano’s own internationally known hit “Che Sara,” and the Lee Greenwood classic, “God Bless The USA.” Feliciano will be joined on the bill by Harry Connick Jr. and the Irish singer Dana.
