Amsterdam Queensday Festival 2008

Since you want to stretch a party as long as you can, there are plenty of possibilities to start your Queensday the night before, on Queensnight. For all your techno, deep-house and minimal needs, DJ Café Max presents a pretty exclusive lineup with Bassie From Holland, internationally acclaimed artist Duotone, Adam Ben Adam, a very exclusive world premiere collaboration between Medway and Sean Cusick, followed by Shimon M and EYE-FI to top things off.

Also in Amsterdam there's the premiere of Electric Deluxe with Richie Hawtin, Speedy J, and Bart Skils rocking the Melkweg venue. Another very promising minimal event is be Rotzooi mit Karotte. Besides Karotte, this event will witness performances by 2000 and One, Daniel Sanchez, Lauhaus and Microfunk. There's more minimalism in Amstelveld as Rekorder presents a Queensnight special with Jerome, Wouter Moor, Rauwkorst (Live) and more. Afterwards you can just set up your tent somewhere on the green fields to continue the next day with Chemistry taking over.

On 30th April, Amsterdam will once again be the place to be. Most of the Queensday events are held in Amsterdam. After sleeping in the bushes at Amstelveld, you can continue your party there with Chemistry's open air event. With a nice mix of styles, varying from Juan Sanchez to Marcello and Melon to Victor Coral, this promises to be a display of the typical Chemistry vibe. At Strand West, Circoloco will set up camp with Gui Boratto, Magda, Amsterdam 661, Shinedoe and many more will playing their vision of electronica. However, for everybody that wants to wander the streets of Amsterdam, there are plenty of other options. Click on the street at the Huyschkaemer venue, Club Fritz praesentiert Musik at Café Katoen, Linke Soep at Le Patron, Earth at the Westerstraat and many more.

To close the day, Club 11 are throwing a party with Bart Skils and the Wighnomy Brothers, or simply go to (In) Bed with Space at Panama with El Sandro and Tom Novy.

So to conclude, plenty of parties, now all that remains is to pray for some sun!
