Madonna Globe Sign to Be Auctioned

The pop superstar posed with the 80 lbs globe for the cover of Vanity Fair magazine, and after the shoot she signed it and drew a heart over Africa. The globe was commissioned by the magazine to be made by London-based set designer Robbie Doig, and is four feet in diameter. The globe is part of a package that Vanity Fair are auctioning off which also includes two tickets to a “very special Madonna performance in New York City “ at the end of April. The location and date of the performance are still under wraps. Madonna is gearing up for the release of her 11th studio album on which she collaborated heavily with Justin Timberlake and Pharrell Williams. ‘4 Minutes’, the first single from the album, is currently available.
