Jamie Lidell, Booka Shade, Chromeo, and Uffie are the confirmed dance acts performing at this year's Lollapalooza.

Taking place August 1st - 3rd at Grant Park in Chicago, Lollapalooza is now heading into its fourth straight year at this one of a kind outdoor park often referred to as the city's front yard.

Considered to be a musical, cultural, and community experience, Lollapalooza is an American music festival featuring rock, alternative rock, hip hop, and punk rock bands, dance and comedy performances, and craft booths.

Conceived by Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction in 1990, the festival toured North America from 1991 to 1997 along with a 2003 revival before finally settling down in 2005 as a weekend getaway in Chicago.

As previous reported, headlining the event will be Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, and Rage Against The Machine. Early Bird 3 Day Passes have already sold out due to the popularity of this event. An all-ages family affair Lollapalooza has featured such acts as Daft Punk, Pearl Jam, and Thievery Corporation in years past.

A perfect summer getaway, those heading into the Windy City for this outdoor festival should make sure to pick up tickets early as last year's tickets went quite quickly.
