2008 CMT Music Awards Full Winners
Taylor Swift
The top prize at the 2008 CMT Music Awards finally was announced.

Video of the Year was rightfully taken by Taylor Swift's "Our Song" video that was directed by Trey Fanjoy. With the win, she has beat out strong contenders including Kenny Chesney, Sugarland and Brad Paisley. The teen singer has won Female Video of the Year earlier that night through the same work.

The nominees of the category was narrowed down to mere four at the beginning of the show with fans being able to log on-line and vote for their favorite. Just before the announcement, Duo Video of the Year was given to Sugarland's "Stay" that was directed by Shaun Silva. The group comprising of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush took their first trophy in the night where music videos from country genre are given recognitions. "We appreciate it. Thank you, fans who voted," Nettles said.

This year, Miley Cyrus and her father Billy Ray Cyrus served double duty as the host as well as performers. They performed their duet "Ready, Set, Don't Go" while others like Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Bucky Covington and Carrie Underwood also took time to invade the stage.
