The track itself is a joint production between Cool & Dre and Linkin Park's DJ, Mike Shinoda. Not only that, a video has been shot for the single in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 15 with director Chris Robinson. Speaking on the song, Rhymes commented, "It ain't just about the 'hood, it ain't just about the suburbs, it's about everybody. This is one of those songs that can't be described better than touching the souls of the common people." The album is due June 17 via Flipmode/Aftermath/Interscope and has spawned a club single called "Don't Touch Me (Throw Da Water on 'Em)". This would not be the first collaboration with a rapper for Linkin Park. In 2004 they teamed up with Jay-Z to release "Collision Course" that went to #1 on Billboard Hot 200 chart. |
