Over the years, 16 Bit Lolitas' Peter Kriek and Ariaan Olieroock have played at some of the largest festivals and club venues.
Their tightly, well-crafted productions have found notoriety on dance-floors worldwide with releases across Yoshitoshi, Alternative Route, Release Records, Sadie Records, Plastic Fantastic, Nu Republic, Armada, Minimal records, DK records, and LMR.
16 Bit Lolita are now armed with a new single on the horizon, Single Baby You/Metaad01 due out on Hope Recordings on June 23rd and a brand, new mix album for Brazil's premier cub Warung coming out in Fall 2008.
Peter Kriek and Ariaan Olieroock had been individually making music for a while before they got together to become 16 Bit Lolitas in 2003. It was only till they moved from New York City to Amsterdam that they embarked on a quest to do something new, creating a mature dance sound.
Adding to Peter's creative genius, Ariaan exhibits a strong technical background and amazing DJ abilities--Both Peter and Ariaan share a deep-rooted passion for music, and with this they continue to grow as both producers and DJs.
