Radiohead to Give 'Green Performance' Show

Radiohead have announced that they will give a "green performance" on US talk show 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien' later this week. The band are set to perform 'House Of Cards' from their recent album 'In Rainbows' on the popular late-night NBC television programme on Wednesday (April 23). :: story continues below :: Rather than flying across the Atlantic to tape the one-off performance, the band have opted to record it at their London studio to reduce their carbon footprint, which frontman Thom Yorke noted avoids leaving a carbon footprint equivalent to driving one's car for a solid year. Their performance is part of talkshow host O'Brien's contribution to NBC's "Green Week" of environmentally conscious programming.
