Soul Singer Al Wilson Died at Age 68

Created On: Tuesday, 22 April 2008 Hits: 63 Al Wilson Soul singer Al Wilson, who topped the U.S. pop singles chart in 1974 with "Show and Tell," died on Monday, local media reported. Wilson succumbed to kidney failure in a hospital in Fontana, a city about 50 miles east of Los Angeles, said the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin. He was 68. The Mississippi native issued his first single "The Snake," in 1968.
