Created On: Wednesday, 30 April 2008 Hits: 15 ![]() Pete Tong The old master's really pushing his line-ups: Groove Armada and Jo Mills are running the other rooms, early guests include Nic Fanciulli, the Secretsundaze boys and James Zabiela, plus Goldie's gone back to his graffiti roots and done the club's artwork. In recent years there's been a change in the air over San Antonio. Better DJs are playing in the area, which was previously known as only catering for the 'punch-up, throw-up, pass out' crowd, and that's in no small part due to Eden. The club has allowed nights like the Electric Sex to provide more alternative sounds alongside the likes of Dave Pearce et al. Tong explains, 'It's time for me to start a new mission; Eden and San Antonio match my ambition to create something fresh on the island.' Tong continues, 'With their desire and my experience we aim to create a ground breaking clubbing experience. San An deserves an international party and that's what we want Wonderland to be.' Wonderland is certainly a collaborative affair. While Tongy plays Eden's main room every Friday from 13th June to 26th September, The Lovebox (aka Groove Armada) play the second room with a stream of top guests like: Rub 'n' Tug (13th June) and James Priestley and Giles Smith from Secretsundaze (20th June).Meanwhile Charlie Chester bringing his legendary promotion skills - and his equally legendary DJ wife, Jo Mills to the third room, or The Looking Glass as it will be known.
