Armin Van Buuren Announces US Tour Dates in Supporting 'Imagine'

The King of Trance has just released his third artist album on Ultra Records. Armin Van Buuren's Imagine features 11 tracks including the hit single Going Wrong with DJ Shah and Chris Jones.

"The idea behind 'Imagine' was to produce an album that was dance floor oriented but could still be played in your living room or chilling on the beach,” states Van Buuren. “It is back to the roots of early day trance and melodies, but produced in a 2008 sound, and is very much inspired by my visits to Ibiza and the Balearic sound. It took almost two years to produce the tracks because a lot of them started out as unplugged sessions in various studios around the world. It makes the sound of the album unique."

Armin Van Buuren will crisscross his way through the States on the Imagine tour. Starting off at Pacha NYC's exclusive Pachita with DJ Remy for Made Event on May 7th, Armin will also play at the usual stops such as Vanguard in Los Angeles, Vision in Chicago, and Prive in Las Vegas. Smaller markets such as Portland, Orlando, and Niagara Falls will also be able to witness one of this decade's most influential trance acts behind the decks. Those unable to catch Armin Van Buuren for the Imagine tour will be pleased to hear that he is returning with Made Event for the second year in a row to open-air venue McCarren Pool in Brooklyn for a special solo-DJ set and all-ages show on Saturday, July 5th.
