Court papers obtained by Reuters yesterday (May 1st) did not say whether Jackson had dropped the case or reached an out-of-court settlement with Bernstein. Story continues below:
Jackson was countersued by the firm on the day that he filed the original lawsuit amid claims that he owed $1 million in unpaid bills. Bernstein’s action against Jackson was dismissed, however. As previously reported on ADateZ Inc., Jackson is currently understood to be recording a new studio album, which will be his first since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
