Michael Jackson Drops Lawsuit Against Accountants
Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson has dropped a lawsuit against an accountancy firm who he had accused of hiring people without his permission.

Jackson, who sued Bernstein in 2006, had also claimed that the firm made deals that he had no knowledge of.

Court papers obtained by Reuters yesterday (May 1st) did not say whether Jackson had dropped the case or reached an out-of-court settlement with Bernstein.

Story continues below:

Jackson was countersued by the firm on the day that he filed the original lawsuit amid claims that he owed $1 million in unpaid bills.

Bernstein’s action against Jackson was dismissed, however.

As previously reported on ADateZ Inc., Jackson is currently understood to be recording a new studio album, which will be his first since he was acquitted of child molestation charges in 2005.
