Paul Van Dyk Comes Up at Victoria Works in Leeds
Paul Van Dyk
Paul Van Dyk coming up to Leeds for a night out at the Victoria Works Warehouse on Saturday 31st May.

Trance fans take note, he's also going to have Giuseppe Ottavani and Steve Porter with him for this performance, which is part of his In Between album tour.

Paul van Dyk: so many plaudits, so little room to list them all. And to be frank, so little point, because when the DJmag awards and the IDMAs are long since forgotten, it's all about ability, something the German trance master has in huge amounts.

DJmag's crowned him the No1 DJ in the world and so many clubbers have agreed it's positively unholy, so just when you thought Leeds only liked minimal, here comes PVD for some serious hand-in-the-air warehouse raving.

Backing up PVD in Arena One (or the In Between Album Tour room, if we're using the proper designation) is Giuseppe Ottavani, one of the main men behind van Dyk's Vandit label, plus Steve Porter who's been supporting the main man of the evening at gigs like Cream's Ibiza home, the truly massive Amnesia.

Meanwhile over in Arena Two (the Elektrik Playground arena) there's top boys Riley & Durrant, two of the trance scene's biggest new school stars since their debut album, Research & Development dropped back in 2007. And of course they are the promoters of Elektrick Playground itself, alongside Adam Sherdian, who shares the DJ spotlight with his longtime collaborators.

Also playing in this room will be up-and-coming producer Hauswerks, who first worked with Riley & Durrant last year, on a remix of Alex Gold's LA Today. Now we get to enjoy their mish-mash of styles live - a perfect combination for any fan of forward-thinking trance.
