The initial round of North American dates went on sale May 10 and the first gig--Oct. 1 in Kansas City, MO--sold out in two minutes, according to a press release.
The tour now spans 24 shows, including second nights in Kansas City, Boston and Toronto, a third night in the Chicago area and new dates in Minneapolis and Hartford, CT.
Tickets for the newly added performances in Kansas City, Minneapolis and Hartford go on sale Monday (5/19). The others are on sale now.
Turner, who announced her retirement from touring eight years ago, was inspired to return to the road following her performance at this year's Grammy Awards.
On the road, Turner is expected to wow fans with a major production and hits spanning her four-decade career, including "Proud Mary," "What's Love Got to Do With It," "We Don't Need Another Hero" and "The Best."
