As previously reported, Mayer will roll out the BlackBerry-sponsored trek July 2 at Milwaukee's Summerfest.
Colbie Caillat and Brett Dennen will join him on the first leg, which is scheduled to visit US cities from coast-to-coast, as well as Toronto, through early August.
The newly announced second leg launches August 19 in Charlotte, NC, and sticks to the East Coast through the end of the month. Paramore will open the first couple of shows on that run, and OneRepublic will take over from there.
Pre-sale tickets for the new dates will be available through Music Today beginning Monday (6/2), and the general public will have access June 7.
The singer/songwriter/guitarist is also gearing up for the July 1 release of "Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles," which was filmed last December at the Nokia Theater.
The two-CD/DVD and Blu-Ray package features three distinct sets: an acoustic performance, a set with the John Mayer Trio (featuring Steve Jordan and Pino Palladino), and a performance with Mayer's full band.
