Metallica to Own 'Guitar Hero' Special Editon

A version of the 'Guitar Hero' computer game based entirely on the songs of Metallica will be released in 2009. According to UK.Gamespot.com, the version of the popular game franchise is set to be released early in the year across various console platforms. :: story continues below :: 'Guitar Hero III' was released in November 2007 to mass acclaim, while previously Aereosmith have had a special edition of the game devoted to them. Metallica are currently recording their new studio album. The follow-up to 2002's 'St Anger' is due out in September.
