Wilco Wilco guitarist Nels Cline has added to the tributes pouring in about Bo Diddley, the legendary guitarist who died Monday (June 2) after suffering heart failure.
Cline said that Diddley's guitar style was timeless, and that "his influence on rock and roll and popular music is incalculable."
"His music has always sounded as fresh as the day it was made, and a list of people who have imitated or been inspired by him would be so long that one might have to create a book to house all the names," Cline told Nme.com.

"His legacy, already felt for decades, will undoubtedly live on as long as there are ears."
Cline joined the likes of Franz Ferdinand, Slash, The Grateful Dead, Mick Jagger and Albert Hammond Jr in paying tribute to Diddley.
