After the Daily Star falsely accused him of having a health scare that jeopardised this year's Brit Awards, which he co-presented.
The newspaper wrongly claimed that Osbourne collapsed twice before the awards ceremony, which took place in Earl's Court in London in February.
Osbourne presented the ceremony in February alongside his wife, Sharon, and two children, Jack and Kelly.

The ruling was made in the London High Court, although Osbourne was not present to hear it.
The singer has indicated that the damages, the amount of which was undisclosed, will be donated to his wife Sharon Osbourne's colon cancer charity.
