Jimi Hendrix Burnt Guitar to Be Auctioned Off

Contributed By: Lion on The Table Created On: Thursday, 12 June 2008 Hits: 113 Jimi Hendrix The 1965 Fender Stratocaster guitar that Jimi Hendrix famously set fire to at the London Astoria on March 31, 1967 is set to be auctioned this summer. The guitar, which is expected to raise around £250,000 ($500,000) at auction, had been kept in storage for the past 40 years.
