DMX Yet another problem has been added to the list of the hardcore rapper’s legal issues, which recently saw him arrested twice in one week.
DMX may be forced to give up a townhouse he owns on the Harlem-end of New York’s Fifth Avenue after he failed to promote a line of pet clothing.
The house will be sold in a sheriff’s sale after a judgment in a breach of contract suit filed by Amusing Diversions, who own the pet line.
DMX never actually lived in the house, but bought it as an investment in 2001 in order to convert it into apartments but he never gained permission to do so.
Amusing Diversions approached the rapper in 2002 asking him to promote their line after he appeared in commercials appealing against animal cruelty. He was ordered by a court to make the Public Service Announcement after he was convicted of cruelty against his 14 pit bulls.
DMX was arrested twice in May for driving offenses and drugs and firearm possession. Last week he was arrested yet again in Miami for driving without a valid license.
