Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and those other three guys that make up the wallpaper band are following in the footsteps of Chris Martin's and co, announcing plans to treat fans to a free concert in New York's Central Park on July 12.
The gig, held in conjunction with Major League Baseball, will be part of the pomp and circumstance surrounding the July 15 All-Star game at Yankee Stadium.

As it is, the Jersey boys are narrowly missing out on a double-header of their own, as they wrap up their current 10-date US tour at Madison Square Garden, with their final two shows set for July 14 and 15.
