ABBA It's really the saddest news for ABBA's fans that ABBA say there is no chance of a reunion despite four of members made a rare appearance.
Two members of ABBA have said that there is no chance the Swedish pop legends will ever play music together or even to reform again.
Both Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson quashed any hint of a musical reunion, despite the four band members getting together this weekend (July 5) at the Swedish premiere of 'Mamma Mia', the film featuring 22 of their songs.
"(There is) simply no motivation to regroup," Ulvaeus told the Sunday Telegraph. "We would like people to remember us as we were, young, exuberant and full of ambition."
"I remember Robert Plant saying Led Zeppelin were a covers band now because they cover all their own stuff. I think that hit the nail on the head."
Andersson added: "You know what pop music is. It is there for the time it actually happens. We were absolutely dead sure it would be the same for us."
The Swedish pop legends last performed together in 1986, 12 years after inning Eurovision with their track ‘Waterloo'.
