Poland might seem like an unlikely location for a dance festival, but this many quality acts simply can't be wrong.
On Friday 1st August and the following Saturday party-goers from all over the world have the opportunity to enjoy a huge range of quality dance acts, all for prices that make the average festival fee sound like a king's ransom.
In Audioriver's second year, 2007, 40,000 people descended on the Polish town of Plock (specifically its beach on the Vistula River) and this year looks like it's going to be even bigger - and at 35 PLN (or 10 euros) for a two-day advanced ticket you can see why…
The Main Stage acts on Friday are Roni Size's Reprazent live, New Zealand's Shapeshifter also with a live set, Jungle Drummer vs Danny Byrd and MC LowQui and Danny Byrd, showing a basshead's dream line-up, if nothing else.
Meanwhile over on the more 4/4 Circus Stage there's Josh Wink, Loco Dice, Agoria and Martin Buttrich (live) a line-up that most would agree is stupendous - and worth twice the price of admission alone!
On Saturday, both stages are dancier, with the main stage hosting prog legend Dave Seaman, alongside the mighty UNKLE live, Kalabrese and his Rumpelorchestra, 20/20 Soundsystem live and secretsundaze favourite A Mountain of One as well.
Over on the Circus Stage there's Ricardo Villalobos and Damian Lazarus, plus Extrawelt and Guy Gerber both playing live. And with two more stages still to confirm their line up, and some local artists all ready to go, it's looking like this could be the surprise festival hit of the year- best get booking!
