Scorpions Announce Short US Summer Tour

Contributed By: Sybru Created On: Tuesday, 08 July 2008 Hits: 150 Scorpions The seasoned German rock will take a short swing through the US later this summer, and will team with fellow rock Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper and Ratt. Scorpions will link up with Hagar in August West Coast shows, then play a pair of shows on their own before joining forces with Cooper for an Aug. 9 in Sparta, WI. An Aug. 10 twin bill in Chicago with Ratt caps the run. Following the brief US jaunt, Scorpions will turn their attention to Latin America and Europe. Scorpions continue to support their latest studio effort, "Humanity--Hour 1," which surfaced in May of last year. The band recorded the set at several different Los Angeles studios with producers James Michael and Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi).
