Dashboard Confessional Chris Carrabba and co have just revealed more details of their upcoming studio album.
Dashboard Confessional stated to Billboard.com that the follow up to "The Shade of Poison Trees" would be dropped this fall, although, having yet to set the title for the new LP.
Revealing the details about the upcoming record, the band's frontman Chris Carrabba told Billboard that the new LP "has a vibrance that is suited for summertime."
Chris also added that the songs on the new album will sound "a bit poppy. But not in a 'pop' popular music way."
The frontman also credited the work done by the yet-to-be-titled LP's producer Adam Schelsinger for creating the unusual pop sound for the record.
Beside working on a new record, the band will also do some other project but unfortunately, Chris still refuses to reveal details about the new stuff.
"If I can get these guys to actually all come into the room together on the same day, we'll see what happens. Right now, it's only just a bit more than 'in theory' right now," said Chris.
