Albert Hammond Jr. The Strokes' guitarist has declared that The Strokes need to record a new album in 2009.
Albert Hammond, Jr. added that the public will think the band have broken up if they do not meet that deadline, having not released an album since 'First Impressions Of Earth' in January 2006.
