Arctic Monkeys Simian Mobile Disco's producer has revealed that he has been signed up to work on Arctic Monkeys' forthcoming third album.
James Ford, who also was behind the controls for the band's last album 'Favourite Worst Nightmare', explained that the LP was only in its very early stages of conception, but said that the results may sound more "psychedelic" than previous efforts.
"It's too early to say what sort of direction they'll go in next," he told the Daily Star.
"But they've got at least one tune up their sleeves that sounds massive already."
"It's much more psychedelic than the first album (2006's 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not'). I wouldn't rule out a bit of R'n'B either – the boys know their stuff."
As yet, it's unclear as to when the band plan to release the album.
