Ronnie Wood The Rolling Stones' guitarist Ronnie Wood has entered rehab, a spokesperson has been confirmed.
The spokesperson told BBC News that Wood was "seeking help" in a rehab centre for alcohol-related issues.
"Following Ronnie's continued battle with alcohol he has entered a period of rehab," the spokesperson said. "His close family and friends say he is seeking help and look forward to his recovery."
Wood previously entered rehab in 2002, and in 1975 had a plastic septum inserted into his nose after a long-term addiction to cocaine.
The reported relationship is understood to have caused tension in the guitarist's 23-year marriage to wife, Jo.
Wood's family and friends had become concerned about the guitarist after it was reported that he had started drinking again, and had gone to Ireland with a young model.
It's not clear how long Wood is expected to stay in rehab for.
