Streets, XX Teens to Play BBC Electric Proms

Contributed By: The Messiah Created On: Thursday, 21 August 2008 Hits: 138 The Last Shadow Puppets The Streets, XX Teens, The Last Shadow Puppets, Nitin Sawhney, Tony Christie and Wild Beasts are confirmed to play shows at the forthcoming BBC Electric Proms series of gigs. The specific dates each act will perform on are yet to be released, ait has been confirmed that The Last Shadow Puppets will play in the Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall October 24. Otherwise The Streets and Nitin Sawhney are set to play at the London Roundhouse. Wave Machines and The Maybes are also set to play shows, which will take place in London and Liverpool from October 22-26. Tony Christie will play on the Royal Daffodil Ferry in Liverpool. More venue, schedule and ticket information will be released soon. Tickets will go on-sale in mid-September. The shows are set to be broadcast on BBC Radio channels and TV stations.
