Live from Blender Theater, New York, 26 August 2008. On the day of the release of his third studio album, "The Recession," rapper Young Jeezy took the stage at New York City's Blender Theater and was joined by famous local friends Lil Kim and Fabolous, among others. "I heard," the rapper said to the full house, "if you're in New York and you don't bring n--as out, you ain't shit."

Clad in all black and dark shades, Jeezy entered the stage on Tuesday (Aug. 26) to DJ Khaled's "I'm So Hood" before running through a variety of tracks that included "J.E.E.Z.Y.," "Peace Up, A Town Down," "Christina Aguilera," "Go Crazy" and "Trap Star." The Atlanta MC introduced Fabolous, who performed his 2004 track "Breathe," by crediting the Brooklyn rapper with being the first artist to feature him on a mainstream track. In a bustier, oversized belt, and gauzy, cut-up spandex that revealed a black thong, Lil Kim took the stage next.

"I told y'all I was connected," Jeezy joked after Lil Kim rocked "Lighters Up." "You thought I was playing?" Further proving his board, Jeezy was joined next by rapper Maino, who performed his recent hit "Hi Haters." The remainder of the show was cameo-free. He performed his remix to fellow Atlanta rapper (and nemesis) Rocko's "Umma Do Me." He also did his verse from the remix to Shawty Lo's "They Know," which features him referening being robbed in his hometown.

After dedicating "Tear It Up" to the ladies, commenting "I don't care what you look like, as long as you fuck with a real nigga when he's locked up, then you're good to me," Jeezy ended the night with "Recession" tracks including "My President" ("Fuck Bush!," he yelled) and "Put On," the Kanye-West-assisted track that hit No. 1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart.
