Noel Gallagher Oasis' Noel Gallagher has been writing a blog documenting his band's current US tour, in which he revealed that he wishes that US Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama was British.
"Impressive stuff. Spellbinding in fact. Wish he was one of ours. Why do Americans believe they're electing the president of THE WORLD though?" he wrote on the band's website.
In Noel Gallagher's blog, which is available to read on Oasisinet.com, the guitarist also revealed that he finds one of the most frustrating things about being on tour is fans constantly asking him for photos.
Gallagher also reveals that he has spent at least one night on the tour bus drinking until well into the next morning, that he managed to find fish and chips in the States and that the band listen to Jimi Hendrix and Hawkwind on the bus.
The guitarist has been keeping fans constantly updated with blog posts throughout the bands current tour, which is supporting their new album 'Dig Out Your Soul'.
Writing last week, Gallagher said there had been "no major drama", except for problems with US immigration.
"Somewhat predictably US immigration nearly takes as long as the flight. I think the sight of a true, real life evil genius has the young officer flustered," he told fans.
