Lily Allen Thanks Police fo Help in 'Kidnap Plot'

A pal of the singer's was abducted in a Ladbroke Grove Sports Centre in West London by armed kidnappers, reports BBC News. The friend, along with another man, was held hostage in Thamesmead for a week before being rescued by police on August 9. :: story continues below :: "Thank you to the Met for getting my friend back," the singer wrote on the Lily Allen MySpace blog. We were all terrified and from what I hear you guys did an amazing job." Five men have been charged with kidnapping offences following the incident.
