Kid Rock Kid Rock has revealed that he is using Amy Winehouse's second album 'Back To Black' as the inspiration for his next studio project.
Rock said that the album, which was strongly influenced by Motown, had got him into "that old school soul thang" again.
"Her (Back To Black of Amy Winehouse) album is so great, it's made me go through all my old Stax and Motown records again. I'd really like to add a little of that flavour to my music," he is quoted as saying.
Rock also revealed that he was changing his direction because of the current state of Hip-Hop music – which he said had "turned into bad pop music."
"People don't believe in half of the current rappers and especially don't believe in what they have to say," he said.
"No one's really a killer or a gangsta. That's why I'm singing more."
