MGMT Denied The Chemical Brothers Collaboration

As previously reported, The band had been exchanging e-mails with the UK dance producers and hoped to get to work on new material with Chemical Brothers soon. Speaking out via their MySpace blog, the band states, "Also, contrary to another internet rumor, though they be rad dudes, the Chemical Brothers will not be producing MGMT's next album." :: story continues below :: The band also revealed the reasoning behind their recent cancellation at the SoCo Music Festival in Albany, New York; drummer Will Berman injured his foot, making him unable to play. Berman suffered the injury by "jumping from the curb to the street".
