Foo Fighters Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl says the band intend to take a long break following their recent shows at London's Wembley Stadium.
The band performed two sold out concerts at the famous venue in June - and were joined on the second night by Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones.
The band's frontman Dave Grohl told BBC Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles that the band were set to go on hiatus then return with a new sense of purpose further down the line.
"We've never really taken a long break, I think it's time," he said.
The former Nirvana drummer continued: "After doing Wembley (the band played Wembley Stadium on June 6 and 7) we shouldn't come back there for 10 years because we've played to everybody.
"It's a funny place being in the band now because we've been a band for about 14 years.
"We've gone from playing the Astoria, to playing Earls Court to playing Wembley. That wasn't really the goal but hey, we'll take it.
"We're over in the UK every year, every summer so I think it's time to take a break and come back over when people really miss us."
