Guns N' Roses drummer Matt Sorum officially launched his new line of clothing at a star-studded grand opening of his Sorum Noce boutique in Los Angeles last night (May 14).

The famed drummer, who also plays for Velvet Revolver, has teamed up with designer Max Noce to put out a line of men's clothing with a rock 'n roll edge.

The Raconteurs have announced that they will play a one-off intimate club gig in Los Angeles this weekend.

Jack White and company are set to play at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday (May 18).

The band have been touring in support of their recent album, 'Consolers Of The Lonely'. They are currently in the UK, playing a gig in Liverpool tonight, as previously reported.

Rihanna's scoop comes thanks to first week digital-download sales in excess of 267,000 copies – which saw her climb from number 53-1.

Lewis, whose debut album 'Spirit' topped the American charts earlier this year, has spent six non-consecutive weeks on top of the singles countdown.

The show will be the 150th gig in the Myspace Secret Shows series, which have been taking place internationally since 2006.

Last week’s tiny Neil Diamond show at The Bitter End in New York was one such show, and artists from The Cure to Justice have all played the series so far.

Bob Dylan, The Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley and Spoon have all been lined up to play the very first New American Music Festival this summer in Pittsburgh, PA.

Curated by Red Hot Chili PeppersAnthony Kiedis, the two-day event will also feature slots from The Black Keys, The Roots, The Duke Spirit and Tiny Masters Of Today.

In addition to the major acts, the festival will feature a college bands competition during which bands will compete to win time in a Los Angeles recording studio, reports Rollingstone.com.

Ian Brown is also part of O2 Undiscovered - a month of workshops to aimed at new musical talent.

The workshops will begin on May 2 at Manchester Academy. They provide access to a panel of seven experts: A&R, artist management, musician, producer, music lawyer, promoter, venue owner and music agent.

Madonna won't know until next week whether a Malawian boy she found in an orphanage in 2006 will become a permanent member of her family, her lawyer said.

Lawyer Alan Chinula had expected the judge to rule on the adoption Wednesday but said the hearing was delayed after a Malawian human rights group presented arguments on "shortcomings" in the southern African nation's adoption laws.

Guns N Roses are re-releasing their 'Greatest Hits' album on June 15, apparently in time for Father's Day.

According to a press release about the album which will be reissued on June 2, the collection is out again "especially for Father’s Day, as it's most definitely the only album of choice for any serious rockfather".

The retrospective will contain hits from all their albums, including 'Paradise City' and 'Welcome to the Jungle'.
